homebuyer education requirement

All borrowers (any primary borrower on the Note/Warranty Deed) must complete a homebuyer education course.

Courses are available online or in-person. The ONLY approved online course is offered by MGIC: https://homebuyers.mgic.com
Eligible providers of homebuyer education can be provided by an approved Welcome Home Wyoming lender.

Refinances

This program is intended for the financing of new mortgage loans. Refinancing of existing mortgage loans is not permitted at this time.

MINIMUM FICO SCORE AND DTI RATIO

Buyers must have a minimum FICO credit score. of 640. The maximum DTI (debt-to-income ratio) must not exceed 45%. Ask a qualified lender if you qualify.

The program allows manual underwriting and underwriters must follow US Bank and Agency guidelines for the product (FHA,VA,RD, etc.)
